The tests and trials carried out by our Research & Development team lead to practical, measurable results. The Taransaud Pure T barrel is the most remarkable example. Pure T is the first barrel arising from an original oenological technique developed by the R&D department. This “global” approach encompasses a wide range of parameters, targeting the precise oenological objectives expressed by winemakers. The Taransaud Pure T barrel has been designed specifically for prestigious white wines, and was directly inspired by work on the anti-oxidant properties of wood. Other products with targeted oenological objectives are also in the development pipeline.
