BUREAU VERITAS was founded in 1828 in Antwerp by a group of men determined to seek the truth on behalf of maritime insurance and to speak it without fear or partiality. It is now a major private group with branches worldwide, and is still attached to the same value: the truth, which is the symbol of its work.
BUREAU VERITAS is recognised and accredited by the major national and international organisations and has ISO 9001 certification for all its activities worldwide. This certification is delivered by the international BSI (British Standard International) organisation.
